SBID Shortlisted
SBID Finalist

Project name:

Bachelor pad – Westbourne Street- W2

Client:

Manhattan Bond

Project background:

Prestige was appointed in 2015 for the complete refurbishment of this apartment in a London Grade II listed building.

The property originally comprised a living room, kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom, but with careful planning and design of space, we created an additional guest powder room transforming the existing bathroom into an ensuite for the master bedroom.

The bedroom area has been redesigned with a full wardrobe with paneling and suede to create a feeling of continuity within the space. The chandeliers in the living room and bedroom also give a visual connection between the spaces.

The master bathroom has been increased in size and clad with stone tiles and mosaic, a bespoke unit in the same style as the vanity unit hides the boiler and the washing machine, maximizing the functionality of the space with style.

Given the Grade II listed status, we have kept all the original features including the original floor in the living room which has been repaired and stained and the newly required fire door has been stylishly hidden within a cleverly designed partition.
