KINGSBRIDGE HOUSE – SLOANE AVENUE, KNIGHTSBRIDGE

SIBD Finalist
IDA Shortlisted

Project name:

Kingsbridge House – Sloane Avenue, Knightsbridge

Client:

Confidential

Project background:

Prestige was appointed in 2013 to undertake the complete refurbishment of this Grade II listed, double fronted house in Chelsea, in order for it to return back to a modern family home. The existing building décor was very much in stuck in the 1970’s and in poor condition.

The client brief was for the space to be fully maximised and modernised, in keeping with the traditional architecture and design maintaining the original envelope and soul of the building throughout the whole refurbishment process.

Refurbished to high standard, we have created a new family home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, cloak room, dining room and a living kitchen space. By maximising the space and creating a warm family environment, we have successfully delivered the core element of the project through our philosophy and architectural approach.

Incorporating all modern requirements into this delicate structure has been a challenge, but one that has successfully provided a family home with a comfortable feel to each and every space. Our client’s satisfaction is our main focus and their close involvement during the design process has resulted in the creation of a building worth calling home.
